The ORHA or Outaouais Railway Heritage Association is a non-profit organization that received its patent letters from the Government of Quebec on 25 May 2008, however, as an association, its work can goes back to 2003.
The mission of the Association is divided into four parts;
The first is to identify and develop the railway heritage of the region.
The second aspect is the preservation of existing rail infrastructure in the Outaouais region and increasing its use.
The third component is the promotion of passenger transport on the line of Les Chemins de fer Quebec-Gatineau co. between the Outaouais and the Lower Laurentians.
The fourth part of the Association's mission is the implentation of an railway interpretation center to highlight our heritage in one collection, followed by activities including the operation of a miniature train on an outdoor network.
